Bookkeeper/Accounts Assistant
We are working with a leading manufacturer to recruit for a detail-oriented and proactive Bookkeeper/Accounts Assistant to be part of their finance team.
There is a competitive salary and bonus for this job as well as hybrid working.
This is a permanent job based in Antrim.
The Bookkeeper/Accounts Assistant will be responsible for:
- Assist with accounts payable processes, including invoice processing and payment approvals.
- Assisting the Finance Director with ad hoc duties at month end and year end
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, ensuring all financial records are up to date.
- Perform customer account reconciliations, Processing Journals, updating fixed asset register
- Utilise accounting software such as Netsuite to manage financial transactions and maintain records.
What you will need to have for the Bookkeeper/Accounts Assistant
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Experience of invoicing and credit control
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritise work in a fast-moving environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
